SHFC, Philippine Heart Center unveil proposed housing project for employees

Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) Vice President for the Metro Manila Group, Engr. Elsa Calimlim, representing President and CEO Federico Laxa, joined the unveiling of the Philippine Heart Center (PHC) housing project held at the Main Lobby on Thursday.

The housing project, located in Brgy. Concepcion Uno, Marikina City, will consist of 14 buildings with 240 units each, totaling 3,360 housing units intended for PHC employees.

The development is a collaboration between SHFC, the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), PHC, and the Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund).

PHC Executive Director Dr. Avenilo Ventura Jr., in his welcome remarks, expressed gratitude to SHFC, DHSUD, and Pag-IBIG Fund for making the project possible.

Meanwhile, DHSUD Undersecretary Garry De Guzman, representing Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar, described the housing project in his speech as the best gift for medical practitioners in recognition of their heroism in saving lives.

Also in attendance were the first PHC Executive Director, Dr. Avenilo Ventura Sr., PHC Engr. Ricardo Limpin, Pag-IBIG Fund Deputy Chief Executive Officers Benjamin Felix Jr., Alexander Hilario Aguilar, and Philippine Heart Center HOA officers; and staff from PHC, SHFC, and DHSUD.
